Proud Archi won here before finishing behind Sir Maxi when the latter scored over track and trip. Truth In Jest was beaten less than a length in the same race and that trio are hard to separate while Go Sing was still beaten a long way when second at Haydock though may improve now handicapping. Emily Post beat Bungley when successful at Carlisle earlier but TASHGHEEL ran his best race since joining Grant Tuer’s yard when fourth at Musselburgh. He finally looks set to take advantage of a tumble down the weights and gets the vote.
