An open affair can go to Bronze Star although the consistent Bavarica, Wasalat and Sudden Impulse are all to be considered. James Fanshawe's filly was disappointing when last seen, appearing not to handle the step up in trip. Returned to this distance, the daughter of Mark Of Esteem should be more at home and can go well for his trainer who's small number of runners are starting to hit some form. Bavarica has been running well on the all-weather of late and can go well yet again although this looks more competitive. Wasalat returns from a break but appears to be better on the all-weather so is opposed, as is Collette's Choice although she should be watched in the market for support. Sudden Impulse is a course and distance winner so warrants respect along with Tcherina who comes from a shrewd yard. In a competitive handicap, Bronze Star is the tentative choice.
