Half of this field are course and distance winners including last year's winner Twin Appeal, who got a canny ride from Gemma Tutty in July and scored again at Thirsk last week for which he's penalised. ZYLAN (NAP), who finished a close third, will be 3lb better off and, with the likely testing conditions more in his favour, looks a sporting choice in a wide-open handicap. Stringybark Creek has won three times around here and has been competing at a higher level since scoring in June while Ollivander has won twice over the course and distance this summer and won't mind the conditions. Keepup Kevin was a long way behind in last year's renewal but completed a track and trip double earlier in the summer on ground with some give so he can go well and though Dubai Acclaim is up 3lb for a short-head victory at Doncaster, he's won from higher marks in the past.
