The booking of Kevin Darley for Opera Glass is a tip in itself and the Andrew Balding-trained daughter of Barathea can make the most of a good opportunity to rid herself of the maiden tag here. Celtic Sapphire hails from an in-form yard and is respected, but Mawaani would not need to be anything out of the ordinary to give the selection the most to do on her belated debut. Opera Glass found ten furlongs to be beyond her at this stage at Newbury earlier in the month and is better judged on her reappearance effort over this trip at Windsor in April. She ran a solid race in defeat and a similar effort today will make her very hard to beat. Mawaani is bred to make an impact this year but, being by Indian Ridge, it is possible that she may not want the ground to be as fast as the predicted going. Celtic Sapphire put in a improved effort last time but needs Opera Glass to under-perform to come out on top at the finish.
