Spinning Dove, Time To Regret and Frimley's Matterry look to be the principles in this maiden claiming stakes and we will give the narrow vote to Spinning Dove. The selection ran well behind Steely Dan at Lingfield over a mile last time in a race which has worked out well. Katiyapour, who finished second in that race, has since gone on to win in good style at Brighton. Our selection had previously gone off as the well supported favourite in a better race than this at Lingfield, but she refused to race that day. However, if there are no such problems at the start here then she should take a good deal of beating. Time To Regret has been running over hurdles of late and although he disappointed back on the flat at Wolverhampton last time, his form behind Salinor on this track last year reads very well in the context of this race. Frimley's Matterry is dropped in grade and should have conditions more to suit than she did at Redcar last time, while Knight To Remember is from a yard in good form so is worth noting in the market. However, for the winner we return to Spinning Dove.
