In an intriguing maiden, the locally trained Salsa Time can upset the representatives from the powerful Newmarket yards, namely Hepburn Bell and E Major. Hepburn Bell ran well last time, finishing third despite not having a clear passge, and she is better than the bare form suggests. E Major looks one of Sir Michael Stoute's lesser lights, and he was only a modest third in a little Wolverhampton maiden on his debut. This son of Singspiel looks likely to improve for this step up in distance, but he is likely to start at a false price and is opposed. Salsa Time is a half sister to the prolific Dancing Bay, also trained by Julie Camacho, and she will know the family well. Salsa Time ran well on her Redcar debut last year, and will enjoy this stiffer test of stamina. Salsa Time can waltz past her rivals here.
