Verdict

BIT OF A QUIRKE completed a course and distance hat-trick before landing a better race than this at Chester. The assessor has been unable to raise him too much as he hasn't been winning far and a five-timer looks on the cards. The three-year-old Geetanjali has won twice on the all-weather and broke her duck on Turf in a Class 6 handicap at Bath for which she's been raised 5lb. Ideal Candy won a mile handicap at Chepstow before runner-up in a slightly better race at Pontefract but Golconda Prince gained his only victory so far on soft ground.
