Musharrif, one of six course and distance winners, won this a year ago when an outside berth wasn't a hindrance on soft ground. He hasn't won subsequently and is 6lb lower and was very unlucky in-running behind Desert Ace and Bosham here earlier this month. He should turn the tables on the front pair but Scoundrel, who is improving, faces a tough test for a three-year-old on this very stiff track. Bondi Beach Boy hasn't won for over two years and is only slowly dropping in the weights but FLYING FOXY looks the one to be on from her inside berth. Michael Wigham's filly, who won a maiden here a year ago, made most in a handicap over this trip at Newmarket then ran well for along way in a Class 4 event at Doncaster so will relish the drop in grade.
