    Verdict

Pace Shot, a son of Montjeu, is an interesting runner for Michael Jarvis in the Michael Tabor colours but lack of experience is of concern and a chance is taken with Tilt, who is preferred to Piccolomini. The last mentioned showed promise in two starts as a juvenile and should go on the ground. The son of Diktat makes more appeal than stablemate We Are The Chelsea, who is far from certain to appreciate the cut in the ground. Numero Due needs to improve on the evidence of two runs as a juvenile and of more interest may be the William Haggas-trained Crete, who ran promisingly under testing conditions at Nottingham on his only start as a juvenile. The vote though goes to Tilt; James Fanshawe's gelding was well held on his only start at two but has a pedigree that suggests he will improve with age and handle plenty of cut in the ground and, at forecast odds, he looks worth chancing.
