Verdict

MAKE ON MADAM was well ahead of Beadlam when scoring over track and trip in April and went close again here last time. An apprentice’s 5lb allowance helps her cause today and Les Eyre’s mare gets the vote. Alfred Richardson won at Pontefract earlier but could only manage third off today’s higher mark at Ripon while Marbooh has yet to win a handicap but has slipped further down the weights. Yorkee Mo Sabee was not beaten far when only fourth here in May and also has shout off his current mark.
