In depth

Verdict

Danetime Lord is sure to be popular in this contest but we prefer the claims of Tour d'Amour with Lisfannon the other to consider. The selection won well when beating Psycho Cat at Southwell last time out. She has now won on each of her last two starts and she may just represent the value in this contest. Danetime Lord won well last time on the all-weather and he should be even better on the turf according to his connections. However, he does have to shoulder a penalty today for his recent win and that might just find him out. Lisfannon is lightly-raced, hails from a leading yard and she was doing all her best work at the finish when third behind Apply Dapply at Pontefract last time. This extra furlong should suit and she is certainly one to note in the market. Leamington Lad won well last time and is another to consider, but for the winner we will stick with Tour d'Amour.
