Beauchamp Quiz was impressive at Brighton recently, beating Desert Air decisively, and a reproduction of that performance might be good enough here. Put up 6lbs for that win, Gerard Butler's filly was never in it after being hampered last time and that race can be written off as far as she is concerned. Galanthus was third at Salisbury last month when tried for the first time over 12 furlongs. However, despite that defeat she has shaped as the type to do well over this trip and it will be no surprise to see her in the shake-up here. Forest Ridge hails from the in-form Amanda Perrett yard, and it is anyone's guess as to how he will perform when stepped up markedly in trip here, though his pedigree suggests he might struggle to stay. There are a number of other interesting runners here. Top weight Dalblair is one of them. A distance winner at Thirsk, the Lake Coniston gelding has failed narrowly in his last two runs, but could still be good enough here off his current mark if he can sustain his effort close home. Full House is sent to the Westwood by Paul Cole. A winner over a mile at Hamilton last year, the gelding has been campaigned at between 10 and 12 furlongs this year, but has been unable to recapture his juvenile form. As a result he has been tumbling down the weights and after his best effort for some time at Salisbury recently he should be full of confidence going into the race. Washington Pink has been in great heart this summer in a dual flat and hurdling campaign, and after his win at Uttoxeter over the obstacles last week he should be involved at the end again here.
