Queen's Gift has disappointed in similar company already, but is stepped up in trip here and will have more time to get into the race. Her stamina has to be taken on trust, but with the stable in such good form she can be given one final chance to get off the mark in what looks anything but a classic event. Top weight Kavi has to be respected after decent efforts in slightly better company at Newcastle, Catterick and in between those, here on the Westwood. Admittedly he does look a bit one-paced at the business end of the race, but the drop in class should help him overcome that and he should be thereabouts. Rod Millman's Ethos has been tried at anything from six furlongs to a mile and has also been dropping down the ratings until putting up a better effort at Leicester a week ago. That confidence boost could be just what he needs to figure here. Of the remainder, Angel Watch is taking plenty of time to get used to the game, but the market could well be a guide to the chances of Mill Regent. From the in-form yard of James Given, he must merit respect.
