JAMES WATT was rated 80 just a couple of years ago and while his drop down the handicap isn’t without good reason, he will be a contender today from a favoured draw. Jack Of Clubs has struggled on a faster surface so these conditions could bring about substantial improvement from those that we’ve seen this season. Insolente won a seller here in May so does at least handle the vagaries of this track. Mehmo is more exposed than most but deserves credit for the way he kept on under a big weight at Doncaster last week, while Your Spirit aims to break his duck at the thirteenth attempt.
