In depth

Verdict

Lucinda Russell is more than capable with her Flat performers so RORY THE CAT looks to have cogent claims in this affair having gone close at Ayr just nine days ago. Fellow course and distance winner Bit Of A Quirke is sure to have his supporters now that the assessor has relented a little. Star Start was well held on a previous try on heavy ground but the gelding has proved consistent in his work this term. Mr Heinz wasn’t disgraced on his latest visit here and is off a 1lb lower mark today. Fifty Sent faces no easy task off top weight though the Newcastle winner has regularly hit the frame.
