The female brigade can call the tune in the opener where JUST THE LADY can defy her penalty here and land it. Lady Fantasie and Franchesca's Gold could well emerge as the biggest threats to the selection. Just The Lady achieved her last victory over course and distance in June justifying odds-on favouritism in the process. Not disgraced in nurseries subsequently she dropped back to claiming company last time finishing fourth which was a rather disappointing effort. The easy surface is the unknown while she is not favourably treated based on lengths and weights calculations with Franchesca's Gold who finished one place in front of her at Wolverhampton. Rod Millman's filly broke very slowly in that event and hung badly throughout so the straight five furlongs here should suit. Lady Fantasie looked to have been found a perfect winning opportunity by connections last time but once again found one too good. A string of second placings to her name leaves her looking rather frustrating. The drop back to the minimum trip should suit Carmanjoe who looked a weak finisher on each of his last two starts over six furlongs. Tagula Sunset is one that could go well at bigger prices but this nursery will not take much winning and Just The Lady can score.
