Carnageo and Kirkham are best watched until confirming they are back to somewhere near their best and this could just be the day that MON BEAU VISAGE (NAP) finally comes good. He's been threatening to hit the back of the net all season and this looks a good opportunity for him to strike, despite having to tote 10-2. He is the sole course winner on show and has been there or thereabouts in competitive handicap company all season. Ghayyar is somewhat inconsistent but the best of recent runs definitely make him a player and his latest close third at Carlisle was a sound effort. However, Tight Lines is the likeliest danger as Mark Johnston never hesitates to pitch three-year-olds in against the older brigade and his Fastnet Rock filly displayed a likeable attitude to prevail at Hamilton latest.
