Verdict
CARDINI didn't show much in his first two starts over 6f but definitely improved over an extra furlong in the Chesham at Royal Ascot and can make enough progress to take this receiving weight from previous winners. Copia Verborum was a 33/1 chance when scoring at the Curragh and was carrying a penalty when only third in the race won by Cape Of Good Hope at Tipperary twelve days ago. Kestrel Prince came in for good support on his debut over 7f at Roscommon and was brought with a well-timed challenge to snatch the prize on the line. Lethal Turbo gave notice of an imminent victory when beaten a head at Fairyhouse then made all over an extended 7f at Bellewstown. Iridessa is from the first crop of Derby winner Ruler Of The World and out of a mare who has produced two minor winners.
