None of the likely favourites for this extended seven furlong claimer has been done any favours by the draw but, with those berthed high holding poor claims on the formbook, the well treated Four Jays is the selection over Regimental Dance and You Never No. The selection is best in, by some way, on official BHB ratings and comes here in decent heart following placed efforts in better company in races at Chester and Sandown. Admittedly the three-year-old has also run disappointingly in two recent starts but his overall level of form is good enough to beat these and he is taken to overcome a draw in stall two. The David Nicholls-trained Regimental Dance is drawn next to the selection in stall three and rates the main danger with the drop in class in her favour. You Never No has claims on the pick of his form and should stay better than most of these having twice run over further than a mile. Henry Windsor and Donny Bowling are worthy of a mention as both are well enough treated to take a hand but neither is certain to stay and they are probably both best watched. With the remainder making limited appeal, this is best left to Four Jays in the hope that he runs up to his form.
