    Verdict

Astrologer looks best of the northern contingent but this looks likely to fall to a Newmarket raider, although the Fahey newcomer, Grab And Run, requires a market check. Casanova will be very popular on his third start for John Gosden, the trainer's only runner on the card and a close second at Epsom last time. He seems sure to go close but JABALALY has also shaped with major promise on both starts and may well offer better value than the Gosden charge. His form is on a par with that of the likely favourite and hopefully he'll handle the ground. James Fanshawe's Pamper posted a pleasing Newmarket debut and is also respected on seasonal reappearance.
