Verdict

Those towards the head of the weights are either out of form or returning from an absence and it's best to search elsewhere. Detachment impressed when scoring over course and distance last season, would have needed his reappearance run and now takes a drop in grade. He's expected to go well especially if the market speaks in his favour. Storm Ahead and International Man are consistent types who should get their respective heads in front sooner or later but the form of KYLIE RULES and Placebo Effect, who finished one-two here last time looks the best on offer. The selection travelled with real purpose that day and is taken to confirm placings and complete the three-timer.
