      Verdict

      Cabal finished tailed off on heavy going at Redcar last month but she completed a double in October initiated by a victory on this track. However, MAKE ON MADAM was only a head behind that day and is 8lb better off so should turn the tables and is handed the vote. Fidelma Moon also ran poorly on her reappearance but won a Carlisle handicap at this level last summer while Miss Ranger is fit from hurdling and is only 5lb higher than her last success at Chelmsford in October. The Wee Barra completed a double at this level in August and has a chance if fit enough but Moon Over Rio's course victory came over much further. Princess Peaches has been running moderately at Southwell since scoring there in December and the bottom pair are out of the handicap.
