Verdict
Yesterday's heavy rain will mean testing conditions. SIGHTLINE is out of a mare who has produced winners with her first two foals to race and she made a very encouraging debut behind the odds-on Zest at Doncaster. That experience should count here and she should win races this season beginning here unless Mazaz is something special. A son of Galileo, he's entered in the Dante and the Derby and wouldn't be travelling from Newmarket to this stiff track without good cause. School Fete also comes up from Headquarters and he'll be much better suited by today's track and trip than over a mile at Lingfield last month where he was staying on under pressure. Head High was well beaten when runner-up on his debut at Hamilton but ran well for a long way at Wolverhampton in October and should make progress while Clayton Hall, who made a promising start at Wolverhampton, is better than he showed back there last month.
