Verdict

Midrarr finished runner-up over 1m4f on her first outing after wind surgery and placed at York when last racing over this far. She has every chance but PATIENT DREAM is just preferred. The latter has been thereabouts over hurdles recently but showed progressive form on the Flat last year with three victories over shorter trips and is only 2lb higher than when last successful. Both Smart Champion and Red Verdon ran below par at the Northumberland Plate meeting at Newcastle last month while Just Hubert and Dash Of Spice are struggling to rediscover their best.
