Verdict

MOTOWN LAKE was arguably a little low-key when third at Hexham last month but the form now looks stronger as the runner-up has subsequently gone one better in a decent handicap chase. The selection, who has been left on an unchanged mark, landed two of his four previous starts and remains open to progress over fences. Mackie Dee is respected for the Armsons back over fences, whilst High Counsel proved that he's no back number at 13 when scoring at Warwick over this trip in early May. Miss Wachit is hard to assess on her chasing debut and in a first-time visor but did score here on her penultimate start over timber, whilst On The Bandwagon is unexposed over fences but produced his best effort to date here in May when runner-up behind Do It For Thy Sen.
