Verdict

Hidden Depths has been cleverly placed by Neil Mulholland to land five wins and five places from his 17 starts on the level and rates a leading contender around a track where he goes particularly well. However, he has to concede plenty of weight to his main rivals and it may be worth taking a chance with GORDONS AURA, who receives a stone from the gelding. The selection looks a typical Sir Mark Prescott project, immediately stepped up to this staying trip after the mandatory three starts as a juvenile. Hopefully, the market will speak well of his chance. Sir Joseph Swan and Hidden Pearl are 0-12 and 0-28 respectively and have to be seen as frustrating, but both have been hitting the frame on recent starts and are preferred in that order in a competitive little heat.
