Dr Rio has his ground and is only a couple of pounds higher than when second here three runs ago but he’s not as well treated as TEMPER TRAP (NAP), who escapes a penalty for winning an apprentices’ race by six lengths at Ripon on Monday. Also successful at Hamilton at the end of last month, Tim Easterby’s charge should complete a quick hat-trick. Strangerontheshore is also potentially well handicapped and will be hard to keep out of the frame with Rum Runner possibly best of the rest.
