In depth

Verdict

Indigo Lake had some fair form on the Flat for John Gosden so it will be some training performance if Richard Newland can get him back to where he once was. Alpha King won well at Yarmouth though the handicapper has taken notice so it could be worth risking FAIRMAC against him. The Johnston team appears in better form of late and the grey hasn’t been disgraced when carrying big weights against lesser rivals. Nova Legend ran a stinker at Hamilton on his latest start and has been gelded subsequently.
