Verdict

With the Mary Reveley camp enjoying a return to form Polish Flame was almost too much of a good thing at Hamilton last week, and duly cruised to a five-length victory. That was only his second outing in a handicap on the flat but he has already made his mark in juvenile contests over hurdles and is shaping into a very versatile performer. He should have the scope to carry the extra 6lb today and looks to be the one they will all have to get the better of. Taffy Dancer and Broughtons Flush are respected as dangers but Lady Laureate could pose the biggest threat.
