Verdict

Power Punch posted a creditable third at Chester last August between a couple of modest efforts and on that form he should figure in this. Orbit The Moon was already beaten when hampered on his debut at Thirsk but may do better today, while the newcomer Maharanee is worth noting for any strong support in the betting. However, TAQAAT finished behind a subsequent winner when fourth on his debut at Wolverhampton in October and may have improved enough in the interim to get his head in front in this contest.
