ROSE OF COMA is the form pick to land this handicap with both Shifting Gold and Royal Max worth noting. The selection won back-to-back races at Yarmouth during the summer and has since run with credit in defeat. He was not beaten far when second at Salisbury last time out and if repeating that same level of form he will go close once again. Shifting Gold is lightly raced with only three runs to his name. He has been beaten at big odds-on all runs but is worth monitoring in the market on his handicap debut. The same can be said about Royal Max, who lacks experience but if improving he could be well treated so is another to note.
