KING OF THE MOORS is taken to defy his six-pound penalty to land his hat-trick at the expense of Portrush Storm and Top Ticket. The selection has posted wins at Musselburgh and Hamilton recently and connections are keen to get another run into him before the handicapper raises him for his latest win. With ground conditions to suit once again he has to go close. Portrush Storm was unable to follow up from a win at Carlisle when well beaten at Chester last time. That said Chester form sometimes does not travel due to the tightness of the track so he can be forgiven a poor run last time out and if returning to form he has each-way claims. As does Top Ticket who is only lightly raced and who will fair better against this company after a couple of disappointing efforts in higher grade races.
