Verdict

Gerald Mosse, who was riding at the Curragh last night, is hanging around to partner Ed Dunlop's Global Spirit, though his mount produced his only decent run on Tapeta at Wolverhampton. Bowler Hat looked a certain future winner when beaten a short-head on debut but hasn't made the expected progress. Onefootinparadise went up 2lb for finishing second over the track and trip but didn't perform as well at Newmarket subsequently. He has dropped back down to that previous mark so has to be considered. KYLIE RULES showed only moderate form in her first campaign but has obviously improved as she ran a fine race when a close third at Carlisle. The runner-up has won subsequently so Ann Duffield's filly can gain her first victory.
