Verdict
Reverend Jacobs improved again on his reappearance at York when holding off the well-backed Zeelander. He’ll be fancied to complete his hat-trick but does have to defy an 8lb rise in the weights. Theglasgowwarrior, a course and distance winner, also gained a narrow win last time, at Hamilton, and finished ahead of Eye of The Storm at the same track before that. Dance King has also won over track and trip but has yet to strike form this season. WESTERN DUKE made late headway on his first try over 1m4f at Ascot. As that was his first run for six month, he’ll strip fitter here so gets the nod.
