Prying Pandora is 5lb out of the handicap though it may not make too much difference in this small field. Tim Easterby continues in outstanding form and APPOINTED won a York handicap last summer from 3lb higher. He gets the nod here as Singyoursong, who also won at this level at Brighton a year ago, is 8lb higher and returning from a couple of moderate runs in Dubai at the beginning of the year. Extra Mile comfortably won a couple of minor all-weather handicaps before heading to Doncaster for her hat-trick bid but, after attempting to make all, found little when headed. She looks a few pounds high though her young rider's claim will aid her cause.
