FIEFDOM really improved last time and finished second at Ayr and if showing development here could be the one to side with, whilst Ansells Pride was only a quarter of a length behind Summer Dancer at this course previously and Mister Jingles has won over course and distance before. We give the nod to Fiefdom who was close behind Mr Lu at Ayr recently. This was a marked improvement for a horse who has not won since September 2008. Over the same trip again today and the Ian McInnes trained eight-year-old could do one better here. Ansells Pride could put in a good run again here but will need to find more near the finish to see off his rivals. Mister Jingles has come on well since a seasonal bow at Thirsk where he was disappointing. Better runs of late point to his chances here but he has not won on the turf for two years and the ground may not be entirely suitable, however this may all change with the variable weather conditions. Course and distance winner Amethyst Dawn is worth a mention after finishing last year in good style, but form so far this term has not been as good and we oppose her today. The selection for this race is Fiefdom.
