Leiba Leiba may be able to make it third time lucky but we'll take a chance with DOTTY DARROCH ahead of The Best Mode. Leiba Leiba shaped well on debut at Nottingham in an average maiden that hasn't worked out particularly well before running to a similar level of form at Lingfield. He has looked something of a short runner so far and may not be open to a huge amount of improvement so may not be one to take too short a price about but, in fairness, he may not have to improve in order to win this contest. The Best Mode may not be as open to as much improvement as some of his opponents with four starts already under his belt but merits respect nonetheless. Joe Junior, Blade Pirate and Volcanic Dust have something to prove in this company but are worth monitoring along with newcomer Sabratha but preference is for Dotty Darroch. The form of her debut third received a boost when the easy winner went in again next time and she may be able to improve sufficiently to take a hand in a small maiden such as this.
