COLLECT ART may not have finished winning yet and is preferred to Via Aurelia with Yakama possibly best of the rest. The selection isn't the finished article yet but he's improving as he gains experience and won a shade cosily over course and distance last time from Miss Kitty Grey. It doesn't appear as though connections have got to the bottom of him yet and he's taken to complete his hat-trick. The one that he has to fear most is James Fanshawe's handicap debutante Via Aurelia who ran her best race of three last season at this track on debut. There wasn't an awful lot of promise to be taken from her two subsequent outings but it would be no surprise to see this well-related filly show an awful lot more from a plater's mark this season. Yakama comes here in good form but has only won once from 38 starts whilst Slap And Tickle has something to prove as she steps up in trip and only two horses make any real appeal with Collect Art preferred.
