HIGHLAND BOBBY had performed well on Tapeta on his last two starts last summer and, though reappearing after a long break, attracted good support at Wetherby last weekend and obliged with the minimum of fuss. He has a 6lb penalty to contend with but that's unlikely to prevent another big run and he gets the nod. On A May Day wasn't beaten far at Catterick and has had the regulation three runs for a mark and 65 may be underestimating her ability. Admiral Rooke has been getting closer to winning and is on a lower mark than his fine run at Pontefract last time while Christmas Night has been running well, as he did behind Bee Machine at Catterick. The winner has a smart pedigree and is progressing quickly, though his young rider may have a problem getting a run from the outside berth.
