A prolific winner on the all-weather, LEAN ON PETE took advantage of a much lower Turf mark to score by nearly four lengths over track and trip recently. He can defy a penalty if in the same mood today and confirm running with runner-up Saint Thomas. The Blue Banana made a winning reappearance at Hamilton to end a long losing run but is upped 4lb.
