Verdict

Ger Lyons won this a year ago and will be hoping to complete the double with Bank On Black, who showed excellent pace throughout to beat BLUE DAHLIA over the trip at Tipperary last week. However, the runner-up missed the break before staying on and a big pull in the weights should enable her to reverse the form and take this. Bold Thady Quill drops back to the minimum for the first time in his career and the fact that half of his starts have been over a mile suggests he may not have the pace for this. The speedy Atlantic Cycle is very small and though game she has a big weight to carry here.
