Chaski gets the call here ahead of Pommes Frites and Gilt Linked. Basically, Chaski has legitimately achieved a rating in the low 70s, efforts that bring her fully into the mix in this affair. Pommes Frites' form is also worthy of study in the context of this contest and she comes firmly into the shake-up also, although she did not progress as much from her first run as expected. Culture Queen has yet to set the world alight in two runs but should be improving, while Gilt Linked has a similar profile, although she was considered good enough to run in the Queen Mary Stakes on her second start. Also, a repeat of her debut form would give her an excellent chance, although she took off like a scalded cat at Newmarket last time. Paddy's Place showed some improvement last time but, in keeping with a lot of these, needs to step up on what has so far been achieved. Finally, Buckle and Hide is one that should be given the once over in the betting and Watch Out Jess has shown some ability, albeit at a modest level. Once again, then, for the selection, we return to Chaski.
