Verdict

It would be no surprise to see some of these end up over hurdles later this year. October's Leicester second is stepped up markedly in trip but Smiley Bagel was third over 1m3f at Kempton earlier this month. Bulge Bracket showed promise in his first season but SCARPETA has been gelded since last seen and is expected to step up on his four runs to date. He reappears on a plater's mark and is surely better than that. Wharane and Chestnut Storm both have their sights lowered a little and could also figure.
