SPIRTITONTHEMOUNT runs again after a commendable victory just a few days ago on the same course with Brandy Butter and Brave Bugsy also reappearing from that same contest to challenge again. The win for the Hiatt stable on 17th May was the first win for Spiritonthemount in 26 starts. The company here is no more intense and it is our choice to side with the course and distance winner. Party Palace finished third in her last outing and should not be discounted as this place was behind the fine performing Lady Hestia. Star of Pompey, Brad's Luck and Ladies Dancing hold little appeal. Brave Bugsy has also won over the course and distance but a poor run when finishing fifth here behind Spiritonthemount and Brandy Butter suggests it has a lot to find if to repeat its winning efforts over the past two years at Bath. Brandy Butter put in a gutsy performance when losing by half a length to Spiritonthemount but we are tempted to stick with Spiritonthemount for this race.
