Spinning Ridge won well last time out on the all-weather at Wolverhampton 6 days ago, whilst Full Victory and Perfect Class are previous course and distance winners, however we are going to go with an altogether riskier prospect in CAPEABILITY. Both Mick Channon and Chris Catlin have scored a decent percentage of winners at Bath and Capeability is by Cape Cross. The progeny of Cape Cross generally progress well and he is also sire of the excellent Sea the Stars. Despite a poor record as yet, it speaks volumes that Mick Channon is persisting with Capeability. Spinning Ridge suffers from an additional six pound penalty for turning out again so quickly after a one and a quarter length win against Running Flame. David Probert once again takes the ride. Full Victory could challenge again after two second place finishes this month at Bath, but we are happy to take a punt with Capeability.
