Tapa, Golden Dixie, Willhewiz and Full Spate are the four for the shortlist in the finale and the vote is given to Golden Dixie. The selection has been in good form throughout the winter on the AW and he certainly translated that form to the turf when a good second behind General Feeling at Windsor last time. He again has a useful claimer taking 5lbs off his back and he looks to have a leading chance. Tapa is a nice filly from the Andrew Balding yard, but she was a little disappointing at Beverley last time over 7f. The drop back to this trip might help to bring about some improvement and she is respected. Willhewiz is not without a chance on the pick of his form, but he is returning from a break and he may just need the run after being off the track since November. Full Spate has ability but has looked to be on the decline in recent times and he can't be backed until he shows signs that he has recaptured some of his old sparkle, so we will stick with Golden Dixie as the one they have to beat.
