Fitzwilly has developed into a consistent and reliable staying handicapper so another solid effort will come as no surprise from the Channon contender despite topweight. Newtown Cross and Tokyo Brown are confirmed two-milers but both have yet to display the best of their form on anything other than artificial surfaces. They will both threaten if doing so. Trip and ground should suit Annaluna who is afforded respect but we'll side with George Baker's RED FOUR. Having displayed progressive hurdling form during the winter, she's expected to improve notably on Flat efforts to date. Last seen on the level when decisively landing a Nottingham amateur riders' handicap last autumn, connections clearly feel she'll handle this significant increase in trip. Market strength would increase confidence in the claims of the Singspiel filly.
