    Verdict

A competitive ten runner field going to post for this and Penang Cinta is selected to land it. David Evans' charge drops back to the ten furlong trip having not been able to close down the leaders over twelve furlongs. The drop back to ten should suit while he is favourably weighted with Latin Scholar who beat him at Windsor on his penultimate start. The easy surface is the concern as throughout his 30 race career he has not raced on ground any easier than good. Latin Scholar is 8lb higher for that Windsor victory last time where he was produced with a perfectly timed challenge by his rider. Open to further improvement and with Alan King's flat string remaining in fine form, Latin Scholar will take plenty of beating. Roodolph is vulnerable to anything with a turn of foot in the closing stages and does not look to hold anything on the assessor. Dr Brass was suited by the step up in trip last time but raced rather lazily and as a consequence blinkers are now on. Ballora was the subject of very strong support at Salisbury on Wednesday but failed to get involved. This is his first attempt at this trip but the easy ground is a cause for concern. Scary Movie should be watched in the market as he looks to be steadily improving. Penang Cinta is the selection to land it.
