No real stand-outs here but perhaps the softer ground and longer trip will suit BOURNE who can see off Rougham and Westlin' Winds. Luca Cumani has a fairly decent record with the horses that he sends to the track and this son of Linamix looks sure to appreciate the stronger test of stamina today, although his previous run was very lacklustre. Given 73 days off since that run, much better is expected today. Westlin' Winds is also having his third start and although he may be more of a handicapping prospect, the feeling is that his last run at Windsor entitles him to respect. Rougham made a pleasing start to his career when fourth to Galilean Moon at Newmarket last month. That runner hasn't really franked the form since but with the yard in form it would be foolish to underestimate him. Brilliana has not quite gone on as may have been thought likely and hopes are pinned on this longer trip, Ramora has shown enough ability to pick up a race but she was fairly well-held last time, whilst Cecily Parsley will be of more interest when tackling handicaps. An open race, but Bourne is given the vote.
