Thinking Positive gets the nod over Sweet Request, Snake's Head and Adorebella. John Gosden is double-handed here, with preference for Thinking Positive who is out to get the losses back after her defeat at the hands of Atayeb at Lingfield last time. She was odds-on then due to the fact that she was meeting that rival on more favourable terms than at Kempton the time before, but she was well held in second. The well-related daughter of Rainbow Quest travelled like a winner last time but found little off the bridle, and so is no good thing, but she is going the right way and should make her mark over middle-distances soon. In contrast, Sweet Request is not bred to get 12-furlongs, but the way that she stayed on when second at Chepstow last time suggests that she will get the trip, and she has to be feared along with Snake's Head. John Dunlop's filly actually drops back in trip and has already been placed on a number of occasions. Adorabella caught the eye when second over the course-and-distance three weeks ago, and it will be interesting to see if Alan King decides to send the former bumper performer hurdling this winter. Aquamarine Beauty will be all the better for her Lingfield debut but needs to show more, and we are happy to side with Thinking Positive.
